MINUTES OF THE GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was officially called to order at 6:15 PM by Chapter President Ar. Daem Panizales.
II. OPENING REMARKS / WELCOME MESSAGE
Ar. Angeluz Tesoro welcomed the members to the first General Membership Meeting for the Fiscal Year 2025–2026. She acknowledged and thanked the outgoing officers and Board of Directors of FY 2024–2025, and expressed gratitude to Ar. Daem Panizales for continuing his leadership into this fiscal year as Chapter President. Members were encouraged to participate actively in the chapter’s programs as UAP Davao approaches its 50th founding anniversary in 2026.
III. INDUSTRY PRESENTATION: GRAPHISOFT – ARCHICAD
The team from GRAPHISOFT was introduced and presented the latest innovations of ARCHICAD, showcasing cutting-edge BIM solutions relevant to architectural practice. The presentation contributed to the members’ professional development. The team comprised Ms. Leslie Ann Osero, Partner Sales Manager of Graphisoft Asia, Ltd.; XciTech Managing Director, Mr. Eric Manalastas (local partner); and the main presenter, Mr. Robert Samuel, Director, APAC Partner Sales.
A Certificate of Appreciation was awarded to the sponsor by the current Chapter President, Ar. Daem Panizales, and Chapter Secretary, Ar. Angeluz Tesoro.

A Prayer Before Meal was followed by Ar. AJ Verga.
Birthday celebrants for the month of July were honored with a special cake, which was shared and enjoyed by everyone during the dinner.

V. ESTABLISHMENT OF QUORUM
The Chapter Secretary(CS) reported a total of 91 attendees.
With more than 55 members present, the quorum was officially declared by Chapter President (CP) Daem Panizales.
VI. REPORTS AND AGENDA PROPER
1. Treasurer’s Report & Turnover
o Presented by Ar. Erl Anthony H. Luego, Chapter Treasurer
o Provided a summary of the chapter's financial status and the completed turnover from the previous fiscal year.
2. Secretary’s Report
o Presented by Ar. Angeluz Tesoro
o Highlighted key National Memorandums and Circulars from UAP National.
3. Membership Concerns
Based on FY 2024–2025 Resolutions:
o Good Standing Members: Encouraged to maintain active status.
o Delinquents: Issues to be discussed in the next Board Meeting.
o Membership Drive: Volunteers encouraged to join the Membership Committee.
4. Calendar of Activities
o A preliminary activity calendar was presented.
o Final version to be disseminated to members.
5. Committee Drive
o Presented by Ar. Manuel Rosales, VP- Operations
o Encouraged involvement in various standing and special committees.
o Printed forms were given to on-site attendees, while a link was posted for online on Google Meet and the official UAP Davao Bulletin

6. College of Fellows & Emeritus Nominee
o Criteria and nomination process were briefly discussed.
VII. ANNOUNCEMENTS
· Members' Project Leads – Updates shared by Ar. Carlo Fuego, VP Plans & Programs on collaborative projects.
· CPD Seminars – Upcoming CPD and online forms were discussed by Ar. Lexie Elaine Prochina. Printed forms were given to on-site attendees, while a link was posted for online on Google Meet and the official UAP Davao Bulletin (https://forms.gle/cY7j6fG2z1Ug2zbq6)
· Chartering of New Chapter – Report by Ar. Daem Panizales on plans and coordination for a new UAP chapter.
· Helpdesk Services – Reminder on UAP/SA/GA Helpdesk availability for member assistance.
VIII. OTHER MATTERS
· Members were encouraged to share ideas and feedback, and where there was none.
IX. ADJOURNMENT
With no further matters, the meeting was officially adjourned at 9:18 PM by Chapter President Ar. Daem Panizales.
